Celebrating the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan 2025 (1445 H), AQUA once again became the main sponsor in organizing the 14th Ramadhan Jazz Festival to support the Islamic Youth of Cut Meutia Mosque (RICMA).
The music festival took place over two days (March 14-15, 2025) and was located at the Cut Meutia Mosque Courtyard, Menteng, Central Jakarta.
AQUA's support for the second time shows its dedication to supporting activities that spread kindness and bring people closer together, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Ramadhan Jazz Festival 2025 was also attended by the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Indonesia, Mr. Marc Gerritsen; Chairman of the Cut Meutia Mosque Foundation, Benny Suprihartadi; Founder of Wartajazz, Agus Setiawan Basuni; VP General Secretary of AQUA, Vera Galuh Sugijanto; and Chairman of the Cut Meutia Mosque Youth, Muhammad Ridho Dafiutomo.
Vera Galuh Sugijanto, as the VP General Secretary of AQUA, expressed her pride in AQUA’s long journey alongside the Muslim community in Indonesia.
“AQUA, as 100% pure hydration that we protect from the source to the hands of the people, always strives to be part of initiatives that spread goodness. Creating a better nation requires collaboration with various parties, including through the Ramadhan Jazz Festival.
With the theme ‘Our Time Is Now,’ the 14th Ramadhan Jazz Festival (RJF) this year invites all members of society, especially the younger generation, to be more proactive in driving change and making a positive impact on their surroundings,” said Vera.
Festival visitors were treated to performances by some of Indonesia’s top musicians. . On the first day (March 14, 2025), the RJF 2025 stage was filled with exciting shows from Salma Salsabil, HIVI, Pandarra, and Rafi Sudirman.
Meanwhile, on the second day (March 15, 2025), the festival featured amazing performances from Nabilla Taqiyyah, Kunto Aji, Wijaya 80, Nadhif Basalamah, and Burgundy.
The Ramadhan Jazz Festival is not just an ordinary music festival, it carries a deeper mission.
As Benny Suprihartadi, Chairman of the Cut Meutia Mosque Foundation, stated, “Ramadhan Jazz Festival is designed as a means of da'wah that can be accepted by various groups of people in a creative way through jazz music. Music, as a universal language, becomes a bridge to convey the message of Islam that is full of peace and kindness.”
Benny added, “The presence of the Dutch Ambassador at this event shows that Islam is a religion of peace and can build friendships with everyone. With the same commitment, we hope this program will continue to grow in the future. We also look forward to working with AQUA and other partners again so that more people can benefit from this initiative.”
As a form of contribution to the community, this year's collaborative music festival between AQUA and RICMA not only presented Indonesia's top musicians from the jazz to pop genres, but also provided donations from ticket sales and donation packages.
The sales proceeds were channeled to renovate prayer rooms and revitalize mosques in the Jabodetabek area.
This collaboration serves as a tangible expression of AQUA’s commitment to spreading kindness, aligning with the spirit of Ramadan, where every positive action brings benefits to others.
Moreover, the Ramadhan Jazz Festival has been held since 2011 and continues to uphold social values in every event.
In 2025, AQUA is once again serving as the main sponsor of RJF for the second time. Previously, in 2024, AQUA was also the main sponsor of the 13th RJF, where all ticket sales proceeds were donated to support the Muslim community in Palestine.
"Spreading kindness is not only through festivals but can also start by ensuring the consumption of halal and thayyib products, not just in terms of quality but also their benefits for the community. With this spirit, AQUA contributes through grand Islamic lectures, religious studies, MSME bazaars, and various initiatives in dozens of mosques to strengthen positive impacts for Muslims in Indonesia," Vera added.
