Easy and Simple, Here’s How to Grow Aloe Vera To Be Fertile!

Aloe vera is a plant that has many benefits, such as strengthening hair roots, helping to lower blood sugar, reducing inflammation in wounds, helping to speed up the healing of burns, maintaining oral health, and many more.

Besides health, aloe vera is also often used as an ornamental plant that can enhance the appearance of the house.

Because of these abundant benefits, many people are interested in painting their own aloe vera at home. If you also want to try it, let’s see how to grow aloe vera below so you don’t fail!

How to Grow Aloe Vera to Be Fertile!

Aloe vera plants are plants that can grow in dry areas. This is because aloe vera has the ability to keep water reserves to survive.

Therefore, aloe vera plants are one of the easiest houseplant options to maintain. In addition, planting your own aloe vera is also one of the light physical activities for those of you who like gardening.

But before you start planting aloe vera, make sure you always have AQUA 600 ml on hand to keep your body hydrated before, during, and after gardening.

Why should you have AQUA? Because AQUA water has a cool sensation when drunk at room temperature, even though it is not refrigerated, it proves that AQUA comes from a protected source and contains preserved natural minerals, making it suitable to fulfill your fluid needs while gardening.

AQUA is also 100% pure mountain water that contains natural minerals without any preservatives, making it safe for consumption every day.

If you already have AQUA 600 ml, let’s follow the right way to cultivate aloe vera ornamental plants below so that the results are more fertile:

1. Prepare the Planting Equipment

Some of the equipment that you must prepare to be able to grow aloe vera at home include:

  • Soil.
  • Water.
  • Pot.
  • Small shovel.
  • Scissors.
  • Gardening gloves.
  • Fertilizer.

2. Find Aloe Vera Saplings

After preparing the equipment above, you need to prepare aloe vera plant saplings. Aloe vera saplings can be obtained from more mature aloe vera plants.

Aloe vera saplings have a smaller size, and the leaves tend to be brighter than grown aloe vera plants in general.

Usually, aloe vera saplings already have their own roots. That’s why make sure be careful when pulling out an aloe vera sapling so as not to damage the roots.

3. Cut the Aloe Vera Saplings

To plant an aloe vera sapling, you need to cut it first, right? Well, in order not to damage the roots, you can remove the entire adult aloe vera plant from its pot first.

Then, cut the aloe vera saplings that have 4 leaves and are ⅕ the size of the grown aloe vera plants.

However, if you feel confident that you will not damage the roots, you can simply cut the sapling without bothering to remove the grown aloe vera plant from its pot.

4. Put the Aloe Vera Sapling into the Pot

After you get an aloe vera sapling that meets the first criteria (has 4 leaves and is ⅕ the size of an adult aloe vera plant), then you need to plant that aloe vera sapling in a pot.

First, fill the pot with enough soil. Then, make a hole in the pot that has been filled with soil. After that, place the aloe vera plant in the hole and level the soil to cover the aloe vera sapling.

5. Watering Aloe Vera Saplings After Planting

After the aloe vera saplings are neatly planted in a pot, water the aloe vera plant so that it can adapt well. But, it’s best not to pour out too much water on the aloe vera.

Tips for Maintaining Aloe Vera Plants

After knowing how to plant aloe vera to be fertile, you also have to learn how to take care of aloe vera plants so that they can grow into beautiful mature plants. Let’s check the tips below:

1. Make Sure the Plant Gets Enough Sunlight

Because aloe vera is a succulent plant, this plant needs enough sunlight every day. Therefore, in order for aloe vera to grow well, make sure the plant is exposed to sunlight in the morning and evening.

Another important thing is not to expose aloe vera plants to direct sunlight because aloe vera will turn yellow if it is exposed to direct sunlight for a long time. Provide a cover or net over the plant, instead.

2. Watering on a Schedule Basis

Just like other plants, aloe vera also needs water to survive. Therefore, you must regularly water this plant.

However, the watering should not be done too often. You can make a schedule for watering aloe vera plants about once every 2–3 weeks for maximum results.

3. Make Sure the Temperature Around the Plant Is Safe

Although aloe vera plants do not really need water, high temperatures can also be one of the triggers for the failure of the aloe vera planting process.

Therefore, when the room temperature or the area where you plant aloe vera reaches 27 degrees, it is better to move your aloe vera plant to a lower temperature.

Even so, you also have to make sure that the temperature of the room or area is not too cold. Aloe vera needs to grow in a dry area to survive.

4. Give Fertilizer Regularly

Fertilizer is one of the plant nutrients that can make it grow healthier and thicker. In this case, you can provide fertilizer to aloe vera plants if needed, for example, if some parts of the aloe vera plant look like they are starting to dry out.

You don’t have to buy, you can also make your own organic fertilizer at home by processing organic waste, such as household waste, tree branches, and animal waste.

5. Choose the Best Pot and Soil

The selection of pots and soil is also an important thing to consider. You can use pots that have holes in the bottom to prevent water stagnation in the pot so that the roots do not rot.

That’s how to grow aloe vera, and its care that you can apply so that your aloe vera plants can be fertile.

When planting and taking care of aloe vera plants, your body will certainly release fluids through sweat. To avoid the risk of dehydration, make sure you always have #AQUADULU available.
